I have already built an environmental monitoring system for a client in the UK who wanted to monitor the state of his tortoise house. This used radio links from the sensor station to the main station that then had internet access and the client was able to monitor state through the internet. We design and develop ZigBee modules and ZigBee networks based on the Renesas M16C ZigBee radio. Previously, we have used the Ember EM250 to develop the Smart Energy Profile for a large meter manufacturer in the US. We have just completed the development of an I2C interface to a temperature/humidity sensor (HTU21D). This data was then sent back through Modbus over ZigBee (our implementation) to an acquisition and dashboarding application. The data was then made available through a web page. This web page may be shared, upon request. We have been involved with ZigBee for over 6 years, and our specialty is in developing interface applications for end equipment. Our bid is very competitive because we already have the base application in place.
