IRIS RECOGNITION: Person Authentication system.
Using java programming design the â€œIris Recognition Systemâ€ for person authentication.
Thesis: This project actually divide in following modules:
1] preprocessing: This is the 1st step in which the noise get removed from the image which has taken from the high resolution camera (currently we have taken images from standard database).
2] Edge Detection: In this step the edges (boundaries) of iris and pupil get detected using Canny Edge Detection Algo.
3] Cropping: This module crops the boundaries of iris and pupil, And calculate the eight parameters (decimal values) for matching purpose.
4] Database connectivity: By using Access database these above eight values are stored in database.
5] Matching: If the database values are matched with current calculated values, then that person is authenticated otherwise not.
