Currenlty we have a ffmpeg, mencoder transcoding farm that uses slow software transcoding. This project is to bring that up to speed by utilizing Intel's QuickSync. Basically need something like this [login to view URL] (just the encoding engine solution) 1. Support for IntelÂ® Coreâ&#65533;¢ with the IntelÂ® HD Graphics 2000 and 3000 series (Sandy Bridge), which features hardware-accelerated decoding and encoding. 3. The only desired output is mp4(h.264) Desired OS compatibility would be Centos, Redhat or Ubuntu Development VM's will be provided.
