Currenlty we have a ffmpeg, mencoder transcoding farm that uses slow software
transcoding. This project is to bring that up to speed by utilizing Intel's QuickSync.
Basically need something like this

1. Support for Intel® Core with the Intel® HD Graphics 2000 and 3000 series (Sandy Bridge), which features hardware-accelerated decoding and encoding.
3. The only desired output is mp4(h.264)
Desired OS compatibility would be Centos, Redhat or Ubuntu
Development VM's will be provided.
- we developped many software for image processing.
- we have good background on image and video encoding, decoding and hardware acceleration.
- We master C programming and API's integration (like Open GL).
- We develop software under Linux Redhat
- We have free resources for this project

I have experience in implementing a live transcoder(decoder + h.264 encoder) using "HandBreak"(ffmpeg + x264) and optimized it for Intel Xeon servers with Cuda GPUs on Redhat Linux. I am open for a short interview aswell
I am a High Performance Computing professional, my main fields of expertise are CUDA and MPI. I did do several projects related to image processing. Can you please be more specific on your specifications, in particular how CUDA is related to your project?
