I need a peer2peer client (Not a complete network, only a client.) to connect to two networks. These networks should be Gnutella and OpenFT.
The basic codes to the networks and documentations you can get at [url removed, login to view]
The client should be lightwheigt. Not so mutch features. Here is the list.
-The basic filesharing features like, filesearching downloading, uploading and the controll of the maximum speed of them. With specific search fields like “title, Artist, category, filesize etc.”
-A little webbrowser (like in Kceasy or Kazaa) whos viewing a webpage with news, updates and so on.
-A Mediafolder where the downloaded files are located.
Thats it, I dont need a mediaplayer, chat feature or something. A perfect example is: [url removed, login to view]
Here is a list of possible options that a user can make:
-The user can choose a username.
-The user can show/change the connection port of the client.
-The user can change his Sharedfolder.
-The user can setup a shedule to shut down the computer at a specific time.
The design of the client should be clear and known from the most used clients. So the design should be like that from kazaa, kceasy or kiwialpha.
Last but not least, the sourcecode of the client should be opensource. It should be possible for me to open and edit the sourcecode and design (buttons, logos etc.). And maybee a little bit support for the first time to compiling the sourcecode.
I know the following compilers. Visual Studio C++ 2005 Express, Visual Studio C# 2005 Express and Borland Builder C++ 6.0. It would be great if I could compile the client in one of these compilers, but i´m open for new things.
Thats it, happy bidding.
