I realize this project isn't too complicated but it's still beyond my abilities. It would need to be completed by someone who understands audio editing programs and Audacity in particular.
I believe this would need to be written as a Nyquist plugin for Audacity but it may also be able to be done in one of the other plug formats compatible with Audacity.
Here's what I need to automate via the plugin:
I record 10 short voice statements/blurbs via microphone into a new stereo track with approx. 10 seconds silence between each. I separate the stereo track and save the left channel as is. I have something that looks like this at this point-
I would like the script/plugin to do the following:
1st) apply the built in reverse effect to the entire left channel (which would then leave me with this):
2nd) I want the script/plugin to "re-order" the reversed blurbs back to the same order they were in originally (with their actual sound still being reversed) like this:
+If possible (though maybe not necessary) I would like the plugin to select and cut the information from the left channel and paste it into the blank right channel. This may have to be done manually and that's OK too.
The main thing that needs to happen is to reverse the initial recording and them reorder or "rotatate" the reversed blurbs back into the same order they were in originally...with the audio in those blurbs still being reversed.
Please feel free to ask questions if my example isn't clear.
