We are evaluating a customized customer relationship management database designed for the commercial real estate industry that will run inside the Outlook environment. The database would be very similar to Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007. The application needs the have the following functionality:
1. Standard contact management functionality that tracks the following record types.
a. Contact (Individual)
d. Marketing Campaigns
e. Contact Activities (Events, Tasks, Calls, Notes, Email, Direct Mail, etc)
f. Commercial Properties/Buildings
g. Sale & Lease Transactions
2. Salesforce Automation
3. Marketing automation/mail merge functionality
4. Proposal & order management
5. Full Outlook integration - It is preferred that the application runs inside the Outlook environment and have identical GUI
BCM 2007 could possibly work with the following customizations:
1. Ability to link multiple contacts/companies to opportunity record
2. Ability to create completely customized forms
3. Ability to create new custom entities. We work in the commercial real estate industry and need to track buildings and sale/lease comparables. The building and/or comparable records would need to be able to be linked back to contacts/opportunities.
4. Customized product/item records.
5. Ability to be synchronized with Blackberry handheld.
