I want to have an eBook creator software written for me. along with the eBook creator will be an executable program that 'select' clients can use to rebrand a created ebook with their own name, company & contact info. to create an ebook the user must have htlk pages already created and the ebook creator will read the HTML & images it uses, to compile an eBook .exe file. It would be possible to have the following options in the eBook creator: 1. Per Page/Whole ebook protection option (user can select text for copy/paste - ON/OFF) 2. Trial periods & Expiry date. Explicitally set or per max number of uses or in x number of days after first use. 3. Password protected. 4. Key generation for registering the product (must use a non-crackable algorithm). 5. Option to select the icon to use for the compiled eBook. 6. When compiling the eBook - one requirement should be HTMl pages should no path links. - if there is a path then it shuold go to the internet, and if the page cannot be found then display a custom error page (I might have it go to my own site). 7. Registered to: box in the help menu. 8. complete Help file for using the eBook creator & rebrander. 9. Option to turn Javascript on/off in the eBook when compiling. 10. Ability to put a custom logo on the created eBook (compile time option) 11. Save eBook Projects: Instead of re-entering all of your settings each time, save the settings as a project. 12. Menu Customization - turn on/off different menu buttons (at compile time) 13. Splash Screens and Start-Up Messages for the newly created ebook (set at compilation time) 14. search function to find keywords in the ebook 15. Custom Pages - set up special message boxes when attempt to access a locked page in trial version. 16. must support multimedia content such as Flash, AVIs, WMV and others 17. must check for errors before your compile 18. Print option - also can be turned on/off at compile time. 19. ebook deactivation. Option to have ebook check customer's site to see if the ebook should be active or disabled. 20. option to encrypt the content (at compile time). 21. set how the book will open (predetermined size / full screen). 22. Set the resolution that the book is displayed at (we will need to do some testing with this one, Im not too sure about it) 23. The compiled eBooks must be ABSOLUTELY TINY! I would like to see the take up hardly any space on the hard drive! 24. must support html forms that submit to a clients site 25. Skinnable. Compile time options should include spplying a skin to the new eBook. 26. Option to disable right-click 27. Ability to check for content updates on a client's site & then update the eBook contents on the local computer. It must come with an installer. Preferably installshield. Please quote: 1. Time to complete the job (in full). 2. what language you propose to code this in (eg: vc++, vb, etc) Also, all source code will be copyrighted to me & owned exclusively by me. You will not claim any ownership of the source or final product. You will need to deliver: 1. Installation document (for my clients) 2. MS Help file showing how to use every feature of this program. 3. Compiled installation program. 4. All source code (including scritps & code for installation program) No graphic design is needed apart from creating an images (in 3 sizes) of a box for this product. (like a box that a software product is delivered in) Must be tested to run on Windows 95 / 98, Windows NT or Windows 2000 operating systems.
