My assignment is to create a very rudimentary shell similar to bash using C. One bug I have been unable to find a solution to is a problem with piping commands, such as "echo abc | cat -e". For commands that have executables that can be found within $PATH, piping seems to work perfectly. However, when I attempt something somewhat nonsensical (cat [login to view URL] | echo) where I pipe into a shell builtin command such as echo, the function call to execve(char*) fails and sets errno=13, which I believe means it's unable to access something, or some other permissions issue.
