I am working on a project using Titanium Web Proxy: [login to view URL]
Titanium Web Proxy is an http/https proxy server implemented in C# which allows you to intercept and analyse HTTP/HTTPS traffic.
What I need to have implemented is a piece of software that can route all http/https traffic on the computer through this proxy.
It seems like some people have already implemented some solutions for this.
There are commercial products such as [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] which shows that it can be done.
There are however also some open source options. [login to view URL] is an open source option, it seems to work with SOCKS and HTTPS, however it uses the GPL license and is for Linux, so it might not be that useful, seeing as the GPL license is not that useful for this project.
Then there is [login to view URL] and that seems to work for Windows, however it only supports SOCKS so it would have to be expanded to accommodate HTTPS or Titanium Web Proxy would have to be expanded to accommodate SOCKS.
The above links are just for inspiration, it doesn’t matter to me how this software is implemented.
So in essence what I need is:
- A small piece of software that can route ALL http/https traffic on the machine through Titanium Web Proxy
- It needs to work on Windows, Mac would be a plus as well, but is not a requirement
- It needs to be simple, the above solutions probably have a lot more functionality than is needed, the only goal is to route ALL http/https traffic through Titanium Web Proxy
- It must be possible to interact with the software using command line or it could be a library that can be invoked from code
I’m looking forward to see your bid! Please explain to me how you are going to solve this as you place your bid.
