Hi, ​Since we are working with 7075-T6 Aluminum, we are dealing with a material of exceptional mechanical properties: a Yield Strength of 73,000 psi, an Ultimate Tensile Strength of 83,000 psi, and an Elongation of 11% (in 2"). Hello, I understand you already have the main 65% case design and need production ready CAD refinement from your STL: add internal standoffs and refine interior geometry for 7075-T6 CNC milling with correct wall thickness, machining clearances, and tight tolerance features. The goal is a machinist friendly model with clean acoustic chambers and foam or silicone space without rattles. Workflow: import STL as reference, rebuild as parametric solid in Fusion 360 or SolidWorks (better for DfM and drawings), define critical datums, then model standoffs, screw bosses, PCB and plate interfaces, and maintain tool access and corner radii for end mills. I’ll produce STEP/IGES and updated STL, manufacturing drawings with tolerance and surface finish notes, an exploded view, and clean renders.
