My Questions. - Which 1/2" shower standard do you need: 1/2"-14 NPT (taper) or BSPP/NPSM straight thread with an O‑ring face seal? - Target operating pressure/temp and any compliance needs (e.g., NSF‑61)? This drives material and O‑ring choices. My Suggestions. - Use straight threads + captured face‑seal O‑ring (AS568) to avoid leaks from over‑torque and keep assembly simple. - Add brass threaded inserts or a reinforced boss for the connections to prevent stress cracking and improve long‑term durability. My Execution Plan. - I confirm requirements: thread standard, pressure/temp, resin volume, target size, finish/branding, and color. - I model the full assembly in SolidWorks (2024) (can also deliver Fusion 360 native), built for injection molding: uniform walls, ribs, fillets, draft, parting line, ejector clearance, no unnecessary undercuts. - I design the resin chamber, upper/lower screens, caps, O‑ring glands, and threads per standard, with manufacturable geometry. - I calculate internal volume and show it on the drawings. - I run an early DFM review (gates, warpage, sink, tolerances) and iterate fast. - I create complete 2D drawings (PDF + DWG/DXF): dims, tolerances, thread specs, draft angles, radii, section/exploded views, assembly notes
