My wood plantation shutters in two separate rooms have slipped out of their tracks and now refuse to open or close smoothly. The tracks are the part that’s damaged, so simply lifting the panels back into place is no longer enough—they catch, bind, and eventually pop out again. There may be additional minor wear on a few louvres or frame edges where the shutters have been forced, but the tracks are the clear culprit. I need someone experienced with interior wood shutter systems to: • Realign or replace the damaged tracks and any associated hardware. • Re-seat each shutter panel so it glides or hinges as originally intended. • Confirm the louvres and frames operate freely once the tracks are fixed, making any small adjustments necessary for smooth, level motion. Please bring the tools and replacement hardware you normally use for wood track repairs; if specialty parts are required, let me know before sourcing them so I can approve the cost. A quick photo update once everything is square, level, and operating effortlessly will serve as final sign-off.
