Our #Caspio application #TownDigitalHub ([login to view URL]) may be made available to cities across the UK via #SocialEcho, a new charitable initiative from #TheBigIssue to help social enterprises start up and find the resources they need to thrive.
Each city will run its own first line help desk, but anything that seems to be a technical issue will be passed back to us as a support ticket. So, we are looking for people to help with technical support.
Each work item will be 1 support ticket. You will investigate it (which might involve emails with the person who raised it), find a solution, document the solution (which might be a code fix and/or a change to the FAQ and/or something else), and let us know how long you worked on it. You can round your time up to the nearest half hour, but should exclude any time spent just waiting for someone to email you back. We will then pay you at a standard hourly rate.
Obviously honesty is required in reporting time spent! But you will understand that more work will go to people who take a reasonable time to fix things :-) And there may be a lot of work available.
All work will be remote.
The application uses a wide range of Caspio features, so all applicants must be Caspio certified. If you haven't done this already, please consider it - the process is free, supported by free training videos, and ensures that you understand everything that Caspio can do. Some guidance to certification is here: [login to view URL] (you may need to ask Caspio for an account). When you apply, please include the email address of someone at Caspio who can confirm your certification.
We look forward to hearing from you. You are welcome to connect with me on LinkedIn.
