I need a skilled chemist to prepare a single 400 g batch of a Class 1 solid amine sorbent for tabletop carbon-capture tests. You will start by sourcing a high-surface-area mesoporous silica gel in the 150–250 µm range, then carry out a wet-impregnation loading with the amine you judge most suitable—branched PEI, TEPA, or a clearly justified alternative. Once the loading is complete, dry the material fully so it ships free-flowing and ready for use. Before dispatch, characterise the sorbent’s specific CO₂ adsorption capacity and its cycling stability over repeated adsorption–desorption runs, then package the data in a concise report.
