JOB TITLE Freelance Chemical / Process Engineer – Plastic Pyrolysis Optimization PROJECT DESCRIPTION We operate a 7.5–8 TPD batch plastic pyrolysis plant processing LDPE, HDPE and PP. We are looking for a freelance Chemical / Process Engineer to help optimize plant performance and reduce wax formation. The plant is already operational. We need process optimization, not basic plant design. OBJECTIVE OF CONSULTATION • reduce wax formation percentage • increase liquid oil yield • increase diesel fraction (C12–C18 range) • improve vapour cracking efficiency • stabilize vapour temperature profile • optimize condenser temperature staging • improve consistency between batches PLANT CONFIGURATION (SUMMARY) • rotary batch pyrolysis reactor • 7.5–8 ton plastic per batch • feedstock: LDPE / HDPE / PP mixed plastic • non-catalytic process • multi-stage vapour residence path • mini tar removal vessel • vapour-liquid separator • 4 stage vertical condensers • 2 horizontal condensers • final polishing condenser • hydroseal system
