Hello noobie here trying to make things plus my art(unrelated) I want to build a pseudo number generator circuit affecting number displays. I am struggling with every part of the design process.* The generator will connect to a 3 digit display made up of 3 7 segment displays that automatically adds the random number to the count in probably intervals. [login to view URL] : example of what im going for but i do want the random number(w/display) to effect another (3 7 segment displays) by adding the first screen value to the second with addition Key requirements: - Circuit board design and simulation skills - Experience with circuit components - Ability to create or use pre-made modules, including flip-flops Ideal skills: - Proficiency* in circuit simulation software (im using voltage simulator app) - Knowledge of and related components - Experience in prototype development Looking for a collaborative partner to help bring this simple prototype to life. I can screen share and use chat or a call. End goal for myself is number game device thats "basic"

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hi, I like the idea, and this is actually a good project to build incrementally rather than trying to design the whole circuit at once. I can work with you step-by-step to turn the idea into a simple, understandable prototype: first establish the timing/trigger circuit, then generate a pseudo-random sequence using flip-flop/counter logic or a small MCU if that makes the design cleaner, and finally handle the 3-digit 7-segment display and automatic addition to the running count. I can also help you work through the circuit in your simulator, explain why each section is there, and turn the working simulation into a practical breadboard/PCB design. If pre-made logic modules make sense, we can use them rather than unnecessarily reinventing everything. Suggested milestones: Define the number-generation and timing behavior Build and simulate the random/pseudo-random section Implement the 3-digit display and counting logic Combine and test the complete prototype Prepare a simple wiring/PCB design if required Since you’re learning, I’m happy to make this collaborative rather than just delivering a finished circuit you don’t understand. If you can share a rough sketch or screenshot of what you have in mind, I can help translate it into the simplest workable architecture.

✅✅✅✅✅ I understand you’re looking for someone to work collaboratively with you on a basic number-game prototype, starting from the circuit concept and taking it through simulation and a working display. I can help you build this step-by-step rather than overcomplicate it. I’d first define the clock/update interval, pseudo-random number generation and counting logic, then connect that to the 3-digit 7-segment display using appropriate drivers/counters. For the random generator, we can compare a simple flip-flop/LFSR approach with a small MCU depending on whether you want this to be primarily a discrete-electronics learning project or simply the easiest reliable prototype. Milestones Define the number-generation and counting logic Build/simulate the circuit in your simulator Connect and test the 3-digit display Prototype the complete circuit Screen-share walkthrough + documentation I’m happy to work collaboratively through screen sharing and explain each section as we build it, including why particular components are being used. If you send me what you currently have in the voltage simulator—even if it is incomplete—I can start from there rather than making you rebuild everything from scratch.

I am interested in this project and believe my background in electronics and embedded systems makes me a strong fit. I have experience designing hardware from concept to production, including schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing support. My expertise includes microcontrollers, wireless communication, power management, sensors, and embedded firmware development. For this project, I will first review the requirements in detail and identify the most practical and cost-effective architecture. I will then develop the schematic design, perform PCB layout with attention to signal integrity and manufacturability, and support prototype bring-up and debugging. Throughout the process, I will maintain clear communication, provide regular progress updates, and ensure all design decisions are documented. My goal is to deliver a reliable, well-engineered solution that meets your technical requirements while minimizing development risks and future production issues. I look forward to discussing the project and contributing to its success.

Hey! I love this — a number game device that rolls a random count on three 7-segment displays is a perfect first build, and I can absolutely help you get unstuck on every part of it. Here's what I bring to this: → I've done plenty of custom PCB and firmware work, including designing boards from scratch for things like controllers and audio players → I can walk you through the circuit logic — flip-flops, clock pulses, and how to make a pseudo-random counter feel random enough for a game → I'll explain it in plain terms so you actually learn the design process, not just copy a schematic → We can work live on a screen share, and I'll help you pick parts that are easy to source I can do this for $30, and I'm happy to start with whatever you've got already.

Hi, I can work with you step by step to turn this number game concept into a simple working prototype. Since you are still figuring out the design, I can help define the circuit first rather than expecting you to already know the components. I would build the logic around a clock or timing source, pseudo random number generation, flip flops or counters as needed, and three 7 segment displays. The generated value can then be added to the running count at the required intervals. I can simulate each stage first, explain what it does, and then move toward the actual schematic and PCB. I am comfortable with circuit simulation, digital logic, microcontrollers, counters, display drivers and prototype development. Screen sharing would also work well so we can build and test the design collaboratively. If you can share a screenshot of your current Voltage Simulator circuit or setup, I can understand where you are starting from. Let's connect and get started soon. Best regards, Binaya T.

Hello, I can help turn your number-game prototype concept into a practical, understandable circuit design. I understand you want a pseudo-random number generator that drives three 7-segment displays, with the generated values automatically affecting the displayed count at defined intervals, while keeping the overall device simple enough to build and understand yourself. My approach would be to design the circuit progressively, starting with the random/pseudo-random generation and timing logic, then connecting the required flip-flops, counters, display drivers, and three-digit 7-segment display. I can simulate the design in your preferred voltage simulator, explain how each section works, and use suitable pre-made modules where they simplify the prototype without compromising the learning experience. I’m comfortable working collaboratively and can walk through the circuit using screen sharing so you understand the design rather than simply receiving a finished schematic. I’d be happy to review your current circuit or simulator setup and help develop the prototype step by step. Thank you,

Hi, I’d be happy to help you bring this number game prototype to life. I have experience with circuit design, simulation, digital logic, flip-flops, counters, 7-segment displays, and prototype development. We can work through the design step by step, starting with the random/pseudo-random number generator, then connecting it to the 3-digit 7-segment display and adding the automatic counting function. I’m also happy to collaborate through screen sharing and explain each part so you understand how the circuit works, not just provide the final design. Let’s discuss your Voltage Simulator setup and the exact behavior you want for the number game. Best regards
