Hello, I need a board created that will be placed inside a plaster wall cavity and control buttons on a wall. The esp32 will run the ESPhome software. It needs to have the following features: ESP32-S3 MCU (can be another ESP32, but though the s3 would be cheaper/easier as you then do not need usb-serial-uart converter) USB-C port (programming only (but can power esp for testing/firmware upload only, ) 240VAC input 12VDC output (or user selectable from the digipot via one of the GPIO outputs) Spring terminals 2 connector AC Power protection and rectification GPIO outputs IDC headers - 6 Size: The maximum board size should be 70 x 50mm. Input: 250VAC from 2 position screw terminal Or 5VDC from USB-C port (USB-C data pins should be connected to the USB pins of the MCU) The board should not be powered by both at the same time, however there should be some sort of protection if it happens. Power regulation and rectification Step down voltage and rectification circuits to provide 12v for digipot and 3.3v for MCU Voltage regulator to provide VCC to MCU Protection circuit for 250VAC Diodes to prevent backfeed of 240V circuit to USB-c Digital potentiometer (optional if it is too complex): A digital potentiometer should be connected to the i2c bus of the MCU, and used to regulate the voltage from 12v down to 3.3v based on a GPIO output from the MCU, the VCC out of the digipot should feed pin1 of the IDC port MCU: ESP32-S3-WROOM Outputs: 6x 6pin IDC 2.4mm pin headers Each header should have the following pinouts Pin 1 - DIGIPOT output VCC Pin 2 - GND Pin 3 - connect to GPIO Pin 4 - connect to GPIO Pin 5 - connect to GPIO Pin 6 - Connect to VCC Each 6 pin header will be connected to a button like this: [login to view URL]
