I need a turnkey computer-vision solution that will watch every freight wagon as it rolls into, and out of, our unloading bays. The entire stack must run on Windows servers and ingest footage coming from fixed, high-resolution cameras mounted alongside the track and inside the bay. Core workflow I expect 1. As soon as a rake arrives, the system grabs a short video or a burst of images of each wagon side. 2. Once unloading is finished, it repeats the capture. 3. Your vision model pinpoints dents, bends, cracks, paint loss and any other deformation, then matches the findings against the “before” set to flag fresh damage. 4. An OCR routine automatically reads and logs the wagon number so the comparison is always wagon-specific. 5. A report generator produces a PDF and a web-view record that shows: wagon ID, thumbnails of the damaged area (before vs after), severity score and time stamps. 6. All data and imagery are stored in a searchable dashboard for later audits or penalty claims; think simple web UI with role-based access. Preferred toolchain OpenCV or similar for preprocessing, a modern detector such as YOLOv8 or Faster-RCNN for damage recognition, and Tesseract or an equivalent OCR engine for the wagon numbers. I am open to TensorFlow or PyTorch as the underlying framework so long as you supply the trained weights and scripts.
