Business Development Manager for MSME Schemes

I work with a growing cluster of service-sector MSMEs that rarely take full advantage of the government help already designed for them. I need someone who can turn that missed opportunity into real growth by guiding these business owners through Startup India, the MSME Credit Scheme and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Your role is consultancy-led: translate each scheme’s rules into clear, actionable steps, build trust with the entrepreneurs, and convert that knowledge into measurable business expansion. Scope of work • Research and distill up-to-date eligibility, incentives and application processes for the three schemes. • Craft an outreach plan—concise guides, email drip campaigns, webinars, on-site workshops—that positions our firm as the go-to advisor in this space. • Deliver one-to-one consultations with MSME owners, matching the right scheme to the right growth stage. • Report fortnightly on clients briefed, applications filed and benefits secured. Acceptance criteria 1. A plain-language knowledge base (PDF + slide deck) that covers all three schemes in depth. 2. A 90-day outreach calendar with sample content ready for release. 3. Documentation showing at least ten MSME consultations completed within four weeks. 4. A KPI dashboard template approved before rollout. Familiarity with Indian government portals, management consulting best practices, simple CRM tools and clear business writing will make this assignment smoother.
