SEO/GEO Expert for Research Peptide Business

Project Overview We are an LLC in the research peptide space looking for a specialized SEO/GEO expert to increase our organic rankings and, specifically, our visibility within AI search engines (Generative Engine Optimization). Because we operate in a high-risk/gray-market industry, we need "White Hat" strategies that focus on authority, safety, and technical compliance. Key Responsibilities 1. On-Page SEO (Technical & Content) Perform a full site audit to fix crawl errors, mobile responsiveness, and site speed. Optimize product descriptions with high-intent keywords (e.g., "purity-tested peptides," "HPLC verified"). Implement advanced Schema Markup (Structured Data) to help both Google and AI models understand our products, pricing, and lab-testing credentials. 2. Off-Page SEO (Authority Building) Develop a high-quality backlink strategy focusing on science, biohacking, and health-related publications. Note: No "link farms" or spammy guest posts. We need niche-relevant authority to survive algorithm updates. 3. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization / AI Visibility) Optimize our content for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)—ensuring AI bots (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) can easily scrape and cite our site. Focus on Entity Health: Improve our brand's "citations" across the web so AI models recognize us as a reputable entity in the peptide space. Format FAQ sections to answer conversational "long-tail" AI queries (e.g., "What is the shelf life of lyophilized peptides?"). Required Experience Proven track record in SEO for "High Risk" or "Gray Market" industries (Supplements, Biohacking, or Research Chemicals preferred). Deep understanding of Google’s E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) guidelines. Knowledge of how Large Language Models (LLMs) retrieve and summarize information. Deliverables Initial SEO/GEO Audit and 6-month Strategy Roadmap. Monthly keyword ranking and AI visibility reports (tracking how often our brand is mentioned in AI-generated answers). On-page optimization for about 20 key product pages.
