I require a freelance copywriter to write (fairly) regular articles for a new furniture and furnishings website.
The main tasks will include writing copy on a weekly/bi-weekly basis around products selected by an interior designer. The copy will include embedded links to other pages in the site. I will also require some blogging. Initially I require eight articles to launch the site with. PLEASE QUOTE ON THE INITIAL EIGHT ARTICLES, NOT THE WEEKLY/BI-WEEKLY ARTICLES.
The copy will be around 1600 words per article written in a magazine style (Living etc, M&S magazine, Grand Designs style). The website concentrates on high-end furniture and furnishings and I therefore require copy which will mirror that.
A keen interest in interiors, interior design, fashion trends and furniture/furnishing would be useful. Excellent punctuation and grammar is essential.
Please be prepared to provide previous examples of work.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Let me tell a vivid story that will help your audience seem themselves surrounded by luxurious furnishings. My copy fuses clarity with excitement. Please see the attached samples.
Hi: The above bid is based on the intial 8 1600 word articles that are required. I am a former magazine writer, but during the past few years with the decline in magazines, I have migrated to online work. The style you require is very specific and requires good writing and research skills, thus the bid is a little higher for this work.
I am currently working full time as a staff journalist on 7 lifestyle magazines in the Yorkshire area. I can complete the initial eight articles within 30 days for £150. If you require previous examples of my work do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks
Hi. I am a full time newspaper journalist. I worked for four years in home furnishings while at university and redecorated my house in that time. I can do a quality job. If you want to know the difference between pencil pleat curtains and triple pinch pleat curtains I'm your woman.
