English Writer for Language Travel Website Descriptions

Ailola Latino is an online travel agency for Spanish and Portuguese Language Travel to Latin America. We are looking for an English native speaker with passion for writing, Latin America and the internet who creates content for our language travel sites on a long-term comittment. You will work as a freelancer in the field of Online Content Management.

### Tasks ###

- Create new and revise existing program descriptions which are search engine optimized

- Create, update and maintain the English web presence

- Create and manage content for the English Blog

- Support for online marketing activities, especially search engine optimization

- Creative writing and copywriting for marketing and PR campaigns

### Requirements ###

- Experience in the internet industry, in particular in online marketing and search engine optimization

- Passion for Latin America and the Spanish and/or Portuguese language and the internet

- Native English speaker

- High degree of autonomy, initiative, creativity and implementation skills

- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge

### Advantageous ###

- Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills

- Basics in graphics editing (e.g. Photoshop)

- Practical experience in the fields of tourism, language travel, internet, e-commerce, search engine optimization (SEO) and/or content management systems (CMS)

### Project description ###

For each language travel destination needs to be created a set of pages:

- Overview

- Destination/City

- Language School

- Language Courses

- Accommodation

- Activities

- Photos

- Arrival

You will get access to our CMS and you can add and edit all pages from there (basic HTML knowledge is beneficial). The project includes liasing with the partner school to get all relevant information, creating the content (text+images) for each page incl. adding them to the CMS, collecting photo material from the schools, selecting the best photos from the schools and image banks for header, content images and photo gallery. The project is done when the destination description with texts and photos is perfectly setup in the CMS. So you need to be able to display the content in a very user-friendly and attractive manner.
