We have developed a comprehensive eCommerce product and need a user guide for it.
The product has two key aspects; the online back office administration pages and the offline database which allows the users to use Microsoft Excel to make any number of changes to their data then upload it to the database directly from within Excel.
Although the product is not yet complete (it's about 85% complete), we now need to start the user guide for this product. We're looking for an intelligent writer who, with some guidance, can work out what's what and create a comprehensive user guide for the product so far.
The guide should be easy to read and easy to follow targetting non-technical users and should have no techno-babble and without being too over-friendly shouldn't be stiff and officious either. It should use plenty of screen shots which we can provide if necessary.
We're happy to take bids from anyone of any nationality however, as we are a British company, ultimately the guide will need to be written in British English, not American or other English however we are happy to make the necessary alterations, although the bid would need to reflect this.
We will be able to provide details of what does what, what the benefits are and how it should be used, starting ideally with a 30 minute walk though over the phone with you, but also followed up with email or further calls to clarify anything you're not sure about.
You can view the back office [here], and see a working sample of the front end [here]
You'll need to be able to provide examples of previous similar guides or documents to be the selected bidder.
All original documents, images and text should be provided in electronic format and we will own the copyright for the guide.
