I have done this exact type of thing numerous times listening to conference calls and transcribing them for my own use. Hello, I'm very interested in your project. I have over a decade of experience transcribing a wide range of topics, so I'm familiar with many terms, and I'm very adept at researching to find the correct words and terms. My rate per audio minute is $1.20CAD. What I'd suggest is I would invoice after each file is transcribed, for the exact number of minutes that file contains. You're then only charged for audio transcribed, not the length of time it takes me to transcribe. I'd be happy to help organize or prioritize topics and themes for your convenience. Once I get started and understand the topics, I can find a way to highlight or categorize those themes. If you have the number of minutes available for your files, I can alter my bid to be more accurate. Otherwise, I'll leave it as is. My usual TAT is four hours for one hour of audio. I would also return a clean copy, with all utterances (um's, ah's, repeated phrases such as you know, removed). Each speaker would be identified by name if possible, but always as an individual speaker. I have spent time working with one of my professors at the University of Oregon transcribing interviews that she conducted in her investigations of Roma culture. In many of the interviews the participants had heavy accents that I had to take into account. She had many hours of interviews that I helped to transcribe.
