My current cPanel / WHM server no longer boots, so I’ve mounted it with a rescue CD. From that environment I can see the raw /home directories and separate SQL dump files, but I’m uncertain whether they’re enough to rebuild every cPanel account. Here is the outcome I need: every user account—files and databases—migrated intact to a freshly provisioned AlmaLinux box running the latest WHM. The former installation was a standard setup, so there are no unusual tweaks to reproduce; I mainly need your expertise to: • Generate proper pkgacct backups (or equivalent) from the rescue shell that include both home folders and SQL databases. • Transfer those archives off-site for safety. • Restore the accounts on the new server and verify sites, mail and MySQL connectivity. I’ll handle the basic OS install and WHM license but may ask brief guidance on name-server, IP or quota settings—nothing extensive. Acceptance is met when every cPanel account loads in WHM with matching data, DNS zones, SSL where applicable, and sample pages respond over HTTP/HTTPS. Familiarity with rescue-mode tooling, rsync, pkgacct, and AlmaLinux-based WHM is essential. If you’ve revived a non-booting server before, this should be straightforward; please outline how soon you can begin and an estimated timeframe to finish the migration. Edit: I should have provided more details. There are 35 domains. The storage is under a TB. The TAR files the host provided of "raw" copies came to 200GB. I was given a "raw" download of each domain and another file with the SQL files. I have SCP/SFTP access to the root of the server. It is a RAID pair of 1TB drives.
