Require an application that does the following:
-Takes images from stereo cameras to create a point cloud (using OpenCV)
-Alternatively use input from 3D time of flight camera such as Xbox Kinect
-Takes position/direction input from a robot
-Using position information from robot, rotate point cloud to correct orientation
-Adjusts the consecutive individual point clouds to align "best fit"
-Creates a global point cloud as the robot drives around
-Take a single point cloud, and reverse locate position of robot based on the point cloud.
-Use open source applications and libraries where possible
Long term/full time job available to persons able to deliver this project
