I have a feature on my site where my users can create an event using The Events Calendar – Community Events plugin.
I would like to add a custom field to this form that will display an image gallery where users can upload their images.
I have chosen Advanced Custom Fields for this, as I use it for other parts of the site and it has the capability I'm looking for.
I have tried integrating this already, and I managed to get the image gallery upload field displaying on the form. The issue I am having is that the images are not being attached to the new event when I submit a new event. I suspect the error is happening due to lack of a Wordpress function that hooks into the Event Submission.
I am editing my event submission form via a template override.
Again, please only apply if you're proficient with PHP, Wordpress Functions and confident you know what you are doing. The Events Calendar is quite a tricky plugin to modify in this way, hence why I am outsourcing this.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of Wordpress functions, PHP and form submissions
