I am looking for a talented developer to help design and build a WebRTC/React project with a goal of providing low latency video with overlay buttons. I have an existing UI/UX design ready, so we can start as soon as possible. The timeline for the project is 1-2 weeks.
The idea is that there are multiple live cameras (say 5) attached to a video switcher, similar to what you'd see on a TV show. The output of that switcher, I want to be encoded as low latency WebRTC, and viewed on a web page from an iPad. Overlaid on that page, will be buttons. Those buttons will relay through a server, and be translated to HTTP Get requests for the video switcher. The video switcher receives those requests and performs an action, like switching the active camera being output. Subsequently, the video that the client is watching on the iPad, changes. Essentially turning the iPad into a remote control for the video switcher.
Recovery and reconnect are important considerations if the iPad was to move to an area with challenging wifi conditions. The video stream should have adaptive bitrate considerations.
