Hi. Before deleting anything I would run a quick column by column count of how many rows each column would remove on its own. The reason is practical: if even one column is optional and mostly empty, the rule "drop the row if any column is blank" can wipe out most of your file. You would get pristine data and almost none of it. That report takes minutes and lets you confirm the rule is doing what you expect. I would also ask what counts as blank. Truly empty cells are easy, but these files usually also hide whitespace-only cells, and text placeholders like NA, N/A, NULL or a single dash, which look empty to you but not to the computer. I treat those as blanks too unless you say otherwise, since otherwise the "clean" file still carries gaps. The work itself is a pandas script, so it is reproducible and runs identically on every file. Formatting and file names are preserved exactly as they come in. Rather than discarding the removed rows, I save them to a separate file per workbook. If a rule turns out too aggressive, nothing is lost and we adjust. You get the cleaned spreadsheets, the removed rows, and a log with per file counts.
