Does the CSV always come with same columns every day? Should the refresh run from server cron or inside Power BI schedule? Do you already have lat/long for routes or need to derive from address? I went through your description carefully, I’ve built similar reporting dashboards before. Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. This looks like a normal ops dashboard build. SQL + CSV merge, daily refresh, KPI cards, filters, drill-down, map. I can handle this. I usually keep these simple so management page loads fast and numbers don’t jump. Plan is — small ETL script to read CSV → push to staging table → join with SQL tables → store daily result snapshot (so old data never changes). KPI values from pre-calculated table, not live query. Faster. Map using stored lat/long with grid grouping so too many points don’t slow browser. Filters done at query level, not UI only. Driver / region filter cached per session. Drill-down opens shipment list from indexed table. Small check step before publish so totals stay within your 1% rule. Simple role table for view / edit, nothing fancy. Power BI Service is easiest here, but React page also ok if you prefer full control. Both fine. One thing to confirm — should the dashboard keep history per day, or always show latest recomputed numbers?
