I am putting the final pieces in place for a new investment-advisory firm and the very first seat I need to fill is a Research Analyst holding a valid NISM Series XV certificate. Your core day-to-day responsibility will be to turn raw market data into clear, actionable insight that feeds both internal decision-making and external client notes. Deep, hands-on data analysis is non-negotiable for this role; if you regularly mine large market datasets, back-test ideas, and translate findings into concise commentary, you are exactly who I want to talk to. A monthly retainer structure makes sense at this stage, so please indicate the number of hours you can commit and the cadence you normally follow for deliverables such as morning briefs, weekly sector outlooks, or longer thematic reports. When you respond, focus on your experience: the exchanges you track, the asset classes you know best, and the tools you lean on—whether that is Excel, Python, R, Bloomberg, or something else. Attach (or link to) your active NISM Series XV certificate; applications without proof of certification cannot be considered. Once the research function is running smoothly I will bring on a Compliance Officer with the NISM Series III-A credential, so if you also meet that requirement feel free to mention it, though the immediate hire remains the Research Analyst.
