Hey, there Glane here, hope you're doing well. Here is my proposal. I will present a complete cycle budget-focused research with R as the central research tool and combining both quantitative and qualitative findings in generating viable recommendations to the non-profit stakeholders. To begin with, I will create an economic monitoring dashboard in R (with the help of tidyverse, readxl, and ggplot2) to monitor the indicators related to the sector and convert the trends into decision-aware information. Second, I will implement programme-level assessment based on cost-effectiveness analysis, variance analysis, and policy-alignment analysis as a way of evaluating value-of-money using M&E frameworks, including logic models, and results chains. Third, I will construct and implement a brief mixed-method budget poll (designed in Google Forms, analysed in R), which involves both descriptive statistics and thematic coding of stakeholder interviews to bring about the operational facts behind financial data. Lastly, I will summarise results in a condensed advocacy brief that connects evidence to policy requests, buttressed with visualisations, executive summaries and prioritised recommendations. The project shall take a duration of 2-3 weeks ( tentative ) with well defined milestones (design, data collection, analysis, validation, reporting) so that the output goes beyond reporting to good advice that the funders and policymakers can rely on to take action.
