Hello, we need your help to support a legal case.
Problem we need solved: Important Microsoft Office for Mac email database has been duplicated turning a 30,000 email database into a 1.5million email database. This is unusable.
Assistance we require: delete 1.5 million duplicate emails in Microsoft Outlook for Mac email database to restore back to the genuine 30,000 email database.
There are several ways to do this:
1. We have tried using apple software programs like "Easy Duplicate Finder" to find and delete the duplicates but these have failed due to the large size of the database.
2. We have tried to convert the Microsoft Office for Mac database files to Microsoft Office for Windows database files, and then run "Cleanup folder" (which is only available in Microsoft Office for Windows) to delete duplicates, however the apple converter software also fails due to the size of the databases.
3. Most likely the only way to cleanse this database and restore it to the 30,000 genuine emails is to manually delete the redundant emails one by one . This will take time but needs to be done very carefully so as to only delete duplicate emails and not delete any original emails.
The task is a long and boring one. It will take weeks and must be done perfectly. We will need to cross check the cleansed database against the original database to ensure no original emails are deleted.
We will send you the email database files via Dropbox or OneDrive. You will need to import this database files onto Microsoft Office for Mac on your own computer and delete the emails one-by-one.
