Experienced finance manager needed to manage 150 students fees and have accurate reports ready for management staff. Individual can be based anywhere, but must be proficient in English and have good work ethics. Timely delivery and good communication skills are essential.
Ensure all payments by students via cash, direct debit, bank transfer and cheque are recorded accurately on the system
Investigate weekly cash variances and report back quarterly
Schedule Direct Debit payments on the last week of every month - ensure approval is sought
Ensure that Direct Debit payments, Bank transfer and Cheque payments are reconciled with management portal after they have successfully cleared
Manage ad-hoc payments for selected students (competition, purchase of books, etc)
Send regular reminders to parents with outstanding balances and ensure penalty payments are applied accurately (Chase-up payments!)
Investigate queried transactions by parents and provide timely response to Receptionist/Management staff
Provide accurate reporting for events and school activities using information provided
Ad-hoc reporting by activities, events, student groups, etc for meetings
Payment of $2.00 per hour on a 30 hour budget per month. Payment will be made by PayPal only on submission of time sheet each month.
