My personal Gmail inbox has grown into an unmanageable tangle of newsletters, receipts, photos, and family conversations. I’m looking for someone who can jump in, audit the current state of the mailbox, and turn it into a neatly labeled, easy-to-navigate space. Here’s what I’d like to achieve: • Create a logical label hierarchy that fits day-to-day personal needs—think Finance, Travel, Family, Shopping, and similar categories we can refine together. • Apply those labels to the existing email archive (roughly 15 000 messages) so everything is properly filed. • Build a small set of efficient filters and rules to keep future mail flowing to the right place automatically. • Walk me through the setup afterward so I understand how to tweak or add labels and filters myself. I’m comfortable granting temporary, limited access via Google’s delegation feature or working together in a screen-share session—whichever you prefer. Tools like Google Workspace, Gmail’s built-in search operators, and add-ons such as “Multiple Inboxes” are all fair game if they help streamline the job; I’m open to your recommendations. Deliverables will be: 1. A clean, labeled inbox with old messages filed accordingly. 2. At least five active filters sorting new mail into the agreed categories. 3. A short hand-over note or call summarizing the structure and any best-practice tips. If you have a track record of taming messy inboxes and can finish this efficiently, I’d love to work with you.
