We are a small, but highly successful bathroom renovation company based in Melbourne.
Due to the large variation in bathroom renovation works we have set up an Excel workbook which allows us to create very detailed quotations. However, this is still extremely time-consuming and with so many quotes to produce we need to keep on top of demand.
We are looking for someone who can either:
a) Extend on the limited drop down boxes we have for each area of work. At the moment, we can only fit 8 lines in the drop down and this needs extending to fit the list in to one view-able section without having to point the cursor and drag down.
or (our preference)
b) create an easily editable spreadsheet (based on our own and using the data already inputted) that can be created whilst at the customer's home discussing the details of the job. Ideally this would allow the estimator to select all works required etc from a master sheet (which encompasses all options) then generate the quote document pulling out just those selected items. A price would be added after, as costings can not be matched to these jobs specifically, so ideally the database would work off the master, be able to highlight/select the relevant items for that job, then pull them out together to create a quote.
