We require some help with a data entry task for our Parts Store. Please Note: This job requires Car and Car Part knowledge and Competence in Microsoft Excel. This Task is to complete all the empty fields in the HS code data spreadsheet. Country of manufacture, HS code and material of construction. The first part of the task uses the supplier countries spreadsheet, the data in here can be used to populate empty fields in the “country _of _manufacture” column of the customs data spreadsheet. Both spreadsheets can be cross referenced to fill in the data. Next is the “material” column, Research the part on our website and online to determine the material of construction, Then capture this information in the spreadsheet Below is a list of all the materials to choose from in order to populate this column of the spreadsheet. Aluminium, Canvas, Cotton, Fabric, Faux Leather, Glass, Leather, Liquid Soap, MB Tex, Mild Steel, Mohair, Paper, Plastic, Polyester, Rubber, Stainless Steel, Steel, Vinyl, Wood Last is the “HS_code” column of the spreadsheet HS Code stands for Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System This is the common standard worldwide term for describing the type of product. Every item that enters or crosses most international borders has to be declared to customs by means of this code. You can find all the information you require about HS codes in the links below including a list of codes to choose from. And use our SKU number in the search box on the top right of the page. This will give you more of an indication of what the product is. A Google search may also help you to find more information about the product. Each product type will have its own code. Please populate all empty fields in the spreadsheet. There are some examples in the spreadsheet for you to follow. The HS code information must be entered without any spaces. All the data in the hs code data spreadsheet needs to be in the same format as the already completed examples. E.g. Capital letters at the start of words, spacing etc Some of the information has already been completed, no need to do these again.
