I need help moving a large catalogue of commercial-kitchen equipment—well over 500 SKUs—into (and occasionally out of) my Shopify store. All product information already lives in clean CSV files, but I want each item to appear online with the correct variants, high-resolution images, SEO-friendly descriptions, pricing tiers and inventory counts. Your task is to take those CSVs, validate the data, map every field to Shopify’s required headers, and run the bulk import so that everything lands in the right collections and tags. When updates are required, I’ll also need accurate exports back to CSV so I can keep offline records perfectly in sync. Key points you’ll handle: • Data preparation: verify column structure, fix mismatches, flag missing media URLs. • Bulk upload: use Shopify’s native importer or a reliable app (e.g. Matrixify) to speed the process without data loss. • Post-import checks: spot-check at least 10% of SKUs for correct specs, images and variant pricing. • Clean export workflow: create a repeatable method for pulling updated product sets back into CSV form on demand. Once everything is running smoothly I should be able to refresh or add batches of equipment in minutes instead of hours.
