The Role & Clear Expectations We use an AI pipeline to fetch product ingredients, metadata, and third-party lab results. We need a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to act as the final human checkpoint before these products are published globally to our app and social feeds. We are striving for 99%+ product accuracy. Your daily tasks will include: Data Verification: Review AI-fetched ingredient lists and product metadata against official brand websites or labels to ensure 100% accuracy. Lab Report Processing: Verify that third-party lab reports (Certificates of Analysis) match the product. You will be responsible for ensuring these reports are strictly anonymized and reformatted into our custom PDF templates before they are attached to public listings. Error Resolution (QA Workflow): When the AI or our users flag a data inaccuracy, you will follow our strict QA loop: Identify the issue → Log it in our Notion tracking boards → Apply the fix in the backend → Re-check and confirm. Daily Reporting: Send a brief daily end-of-day report in our designated Slack channel detailing the number of items reviewed, issues resolved, and any unresolved bottlenecks. The Skills Required Extreme Attention to Detail: A single missing ingredient or incorrect unit of measurement matters in our industry. You must be highly meticulous. Data Entry & QA Experience: Proven experience reviewing datasets, spotting anomalies, and following deterministic checklists. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating custom backend dashboards, Slack, and complex Notion databases. Basic Image/PDF Handling: Experience formatting, anonymizing, or managing PDF documents is a strong plus. Interest in Health/Wellness: A basic understanding of nutrition labels, supplements, or ingredient lists will make this job much easier for you. Good Communication Since we operate across different time zones with minimal meetings, clear written communication is critical. We expect you to: Ask clarifying questions immediately if a product's data is confusing. Flag critical bugs or system issues in our Slack channels the moment you see them. Provide reliable, concise daily updates on your progress without needing to be micromanaged. About Us & How We Work We are a fast-growing consumer health technology company that helps users find the healthiest food, water, and personal care products on the market. Our culture is built on empowering team members, autonomous workflows, and outputting insanely high-quality work. We strongly believe in personal freedom and flexibility. To protect your time (and ours), we minimize mandatory meetings and rely heavily on organized, asynchronous communication via Slack and Notion. You will work closely with our Data Integrity Lead and Research Team in a highly collaborative but independent environment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To Apply: Please begin your proposal by telling us about a time you had to spot an error in a large dataset or follow a strict quality assurance process. Include any experience you have working with Notion and Slack. You will be asked to answer the following questions when submitting a proposal: Describe your familiarity with health reports Internal lab tests override lab tests provided by brands. You are reviewing a product. The brand provides a lab report with a 0.2 mcg Lead level. Our lab tested the same powder with a result of 0.5 mcg. Which level do you input into the system, and why? How do you ensure accuracy while typing? Describe your recent experience with similar projects How do you handle sensitive information or records?

Hello Dear Client, In a recent data audit project, I identified inconsistencies in ingredient units across a 500 plus product dataset, traced the source to parsing errors, corrected entries, and implemented a checklist to prevent recurrence. I bring strong QA discipline, having worked with structured workflows in Notion and daily reporting through Slack, ensuring transparency and accuracy. I am familiar with health reports, including Certificates of Analysis, and understand the importance of precise interpretation and anonymization. I would input the 0.5 mcg Lead level because internal lab data overrides brand supplied results, ensuring the highest integrity standard. I ensure typing accuracy through double entry checks, validation rules, and final reviews before submission. My recent experience includes data verification, backend updates, and PDF handling. I treat sensitive records with strict confidentiality, secure storage, and controlled access. I would love to discuss the project further and explore how I can help bring my skills to the team. Best regards, Tai Purity

In a previous QA project, I identified numerous inconsistencies in a large product dataset by cross-checking source records against official documentation and following a strict validation checklist before approval. I regularly use Notion for task tracking and documentation and Slack for asynchronous communication, issue escalation, and daily reporting. I have experience reviewing product data, reports, spreadsheets, and PDFs with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. If internal lab tests override brand-provided results, I would enter the internal result of 0.5 mcg Lead because it is the designated authoritative source according to the QA policy. To ensure accuracy, I follow a structured review process, verify data against original sources, perform final audits before submission, and maintain detailed records of any changes made. I also handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality, limited access practices, and careful adherence to company procedures.

Hi, I recently worked on a data verification project where I identified missing entries and incorrect values within a large dataset by cross-checking records against source documents and following a strict QA process before final approval. I understand that your biggest challenge is maintaining 99%+ product accuracy. With AI-generated ingredient lists, product metadata, and lab reports, even a small error can impact user trust. You need someone who can carefully verify information, follow QA workflows, and catch issues before products go live. With 7+ years of experience in data entry, data verification, QA, research, and administrative support, I am comfortable working with Notion, Slack, Excel, and structured review processes. I pay close attention to detail and follow documented procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency. For your lab-report question, I would use the 0.5 mcg Lead result because internal lab results override brand-provided reports according to your policy. How many products does a team member typically review per day? Best regards, Syeda Sidrah A.

In my role at Soul City Institute I reviewed large financial datasets daily for donor reporting. I once identified a duplicated supplier payment of R45,000 processed twice due to an invoice reference error. I flagged it, logged it, and resolved it before month-end — contributing to three consecutive clean audit outcomes. Lab report answer: I would input 0.5 mcg — the internal lab result always overrides the brand-supplied report. The brand has an interest in favourable results. Our internal test is the independent verified source of truth. I ensure accuracy by working in batches, cross-checking each entry against the source before moving forward. I never rush at the expense of accuracy. I have 10+ years of data entry, document verification, and AP/AR processing experience across NGO and corporate environments. I am comfortable with Slack and a fast learner on Notion. I handle all sensitive information with strict confidentiality — in finance I dealt with donor records, banking details, and audit documents daily, always stored securely and shared only with authorised personnel. I am detail-oriented, reliable, and available to start immediately.

Hi, I’m interested in this opportunity because I enjoy detail-oriented work and making sure information is accurate. In my current Project Coordinator role, I work with spreadsheets, documentation, tracking systems, invoices, and shipping records where attention to detail is very important. 1. While I haven't worked directly in the health industry, I'm comfortable reviewing reports, comparing information from different sources, and following established procedures to ensure accuracy. I'm also familiar with ingredient lists and product labels. 2. I would enter 0.5 mcg because your instructions state that internal lab results override brand-provided reports. I would still verify that both reports match the correct product and batch. 3. I ensure accuracy by working directly from the source document, double-checking important information, and reviewing my work before submission. 4. My recent experience includes reviewing shipping documents, invoices, purchase orders, inventory records, and project tracking data to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records. 5. I handle sensitive information carefully, follow company procedures, limit access to authorized individuals, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
