I need a Logstash pipeline that can ingest data arriving as “UDP” and write the processed events out to flat files. The core of the job is to design, document, and test a clean Logstash configuration that listens on the appropriate UDP port, applies any minimal parsing or tagging that’s required, and then reliably ships the results to a rotating set of files on disk. Please deliver: • A ready-to-run [login to view URL] with clear inline comments • A short README explaining how to start the pipeline, verify it is receiving UDP traffic, and confirm that the file output is being generated as expected • Any helper scripts or sample commands you use during testing so I can reproduce your results on my side Feel free to lean on common plugins such as udp, grok, date, mutate, and file; just keep external dependencies to a minimum. I will test on Logstash 8.x, so make sure your syntax matches that version. Once everything is working end-to-end, we can wrap up.
