Admin / Professor / Student login already working in your current build? Is MySQL schema final or still changing? Should professor approval happen manually from admin screen every time? I went through your description carefully and also saw the UI screens you shared. I have worked on similar Python + MySQL desktop systems before. Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. Your ERP looks already started, so this is more about completing + fixing flow, not starting from zero. That is fine, I usually work like this only. I would continue by stabilizing login → role check → course mapping → grades flow, then clean DB structure if needed. Things I normally fix early to avoid bugs later keep roles in table not in code add status field for professor approval separate enrollment table separate grades table store password hashed single DB connection handler basic error log table avoid DB calls inside UI button code For CustomTkinter apps this is important, otherwise later changes become difficult. Seen this many times in admin tools. Also approval + enrollment needs proper flags, otherwise wrong users appear in list sometimes. One thing to confirm — should this ERP support multiple users at same time, yes or no?
