At our Big Sprint, TX facility the cabling closets are ready for a full refresh and I want the entire job handled in a single, well-coordinated visit. Scope • IDF maintenance in the server room, all LAN rooms, and the common-area pull-points. This includes cleaning up existing bundles, verifying labels, and updating documentation. • Cat6 re-termination on every run, using both modular patch panels and 110-blocks exactly as our standard requires. Each pair must be tested for Gigabit. • New wall-mounted racks on plywood backboards in the server room and every LAN room. Install and anchor plywood when needed; you supply and mount the racks, then migrate gear with minimal downtime. • Installation of two-unit UPSs and the new switches in each rack, followed by neat dressing and Velcro management. • Replace all patch cords with manufacturer-tested Cat6 cords, color-coded per closet. • Final dressing so both free-standing and wall racks present a clean, serviceable layout. Acceptance The customer will approve the IDF remeidation once it is completed, then we will sign it as completed. Bring your own punches, testers, and labeling, wireless drill, bits, screws, bolts, 8-foot ladders (if possible), and other tools; I’m ready to schedule as soon as you confirm the lead time and part list.
