I’m preparing a single-family new build in Pensacola (Escambia County, coastal flood zone) and need a Florida-licensed structural engineer to take my nearly complete plan set over the finish line. Scope of work • Review the full structural package and issue a signed-and-sealed set for county permitting. • Update the foundation sheet only: convert the current generic footing to a driven-pile system that satisfies all flood-zone requirements (design elevations, scour, embedment, material spec, uplift, lateral, and scour checks). • Verify framing, roof structure, and global wind-load resistance; if they already comply, simply note and certify—otherwise redline and adjust the drawings so the whole set meets current Florida Building Code, Escambia County amendments, and coastal wind-borne debris provisions (approx. 170 mph risk-category II). • Provide accompanying structural calculations.
