Hello, Your manual has to read identically once the text becomes selectable, and a few points will decide how faithfully that happens. Is the PDF native text you can select and copy, or a scan that would need character recognition first? That changes the whole approach. For the output, would you like a Word .docx, and should the original fonts be reproduced exactly, or is a close visual match fine? By "mirroring the layout", do you mean pixel-perfect placement, or the same structure: headings, bold/italic, line breaks and paragraphs? Depending on your answers, a clean conversion that preserves the formatting, followed by a line-by-line check against the PDF, may prove more reliable than manual re-typing.
