I need a complete engineering blueprint for a small tracker that can be fastened to any asset and determine its position inside a building by scanning nearby WiFi access points. Every 15-30 minutes (configurable) the unit must wake, calculate its coordinates, and post them to my cloud back-end. A single push-button on the device serves as a service call: when pressed it must instantly trigger two actions—send an email alert and push a notification to our web dashboard through a REST or MQTT endpoint. I am looking for a document set that details: • Hardware architecture: MCU, low-power WiFi module, antenna, sensor package, power source, and enclosure considerations • Firmware flowcharts covering WiFi scanning, interval sleep strategy, and button interrupt handling • Communication protocol, payload structure, and sample API calls for both periodic location uploads and the service-call event • Bill of materials with part numbers that are readily available • Power budget showing expected battery life at the 15- and 30-minute reporting intervals • Suggestions for FCC/CE compliance and OTA update hooks Please factor in low-power design best practices and indoor positioning accuracy techniques such as RSSI fingerprinting or trilateration. The goal is to walk away with a clear set of schematics, BOM, and firmware architecture that my hardware team can move directly into prototyping. Happy to answer any follow-up questions as you scope the work.
