That includes choosing suitable PLC or edge controllers, sensors, valves, drives, communication protocols, and presenting clear wiring diagrams. Build in robust safety with redundant shut-off valves, overflow sensing, emergency stops and manual overrides so the toilet can still be used safely if the automation is bypassed.
