First, the bid is a placeholder until suitable information allows a proper estimate. At this point I am unsure if this is tuning an RF antenna, tuning a musical instrument, or tuning a timing circuit. That said, I started tuning RF circuits as a high school student in the late 70's. I have worked with RF ever since. I have worked with wireless, passive sensors hardened for use in power substations since 2008, which is a dance between high noise and high voltage immunity and low RF losses. If it is RF, i will need to work closely with the PCB guy or just do the layout since, at RF, schematics are more of a guideline than a recipe. It's all in the layout. If it's a musical instrument, i am almost tone deaf, but I can still design. If we are tuning engines or timing loops, I'll need more detail to assess my value add. I am enjoying an abundance of work right now, so I will only take the job if I know i can exceed your expectations. Tell me what we're tuning and what specific metrics you need and we can talk solutions.
