Design a BLDC motor driver for a 24 volt 2 Amp 3 phase 'outside running' motor (external rotor motor).
Motor specs:
12 pole stator, 16 pole magnet ring, 8,000 R.P.M.
3 phase winding A-B-C-A-B-C-A-B-C-A-B-C all windings same direction.
Power input 24 volt Max. 1.9 Amp.
To do:
Design Hardware & Software for BLDC Sensor less Controller, complete with:
- Hardware circuit Design
- Software design
- PCB Design
- B.O.M. List
The motor will only be switched 'on and off' by a simple on/off switch.
No speed control needed.
PCB Board dimensions: width 60 mm. x 60 mm. (or longer if necessary)
Looking for a low cost micro-controller, so will look at BOM offered by the designer. Overall PCB should cost less than $5.00 assembled in bulk.
Working and original Source code with commented explanation of process must be turned over to the prior to payment.
We use Altium designer and Prefer to use a micro-controller from microchip (dot) com. Working simulation required prior to final design being sent to the factory for prototype assembly. While waiting (1 week) for the assemble to be completed, you should finalize the code and compile to HEX for testing. Testing will include speed control at 8000RPM constant and economical use of power. This motor is similar to a model airplane motor or a BLDC fan motor. Operates only on or off. On is 8000RPM with a start-up sequence to drive motor to correct and maintained speed. ABC sensor design should be embedded with PCB design through monitoring ABC signals.
First milestone (50%) will be based on a working PCB after assembly and working HEX file drives motor to 8000RPM. No pre-payment offered what so ever. Final payment to be made after you turnover the source code and testing is completed. We use team viewer to allow you to work together with us. We expect the project to take 7 days to design, 10 days to assemble prototype and then 5 days to test. If you can work in that or better time frame please advise in your bid.
We have an Altium design that was made prior to offering this job. The programmer did not have enough experience or knowledge to complete the job. We can share this information with you to redesign and use as a point of reference. We believe the design is flawed in the sensor voltage feedback signal being too low for the PIC18 micro controller.
Please only bid if you think this is an easy project and have experience in designing PCB's and writing code for the driver. Feel free to ask any questions you wish. Thank you for reviewing my project!
hi, i can help you with the required modifications in your design. especially with reference to the rotor position sensor and the micro controller required for the job.
Hello ,
I am a professional electronic engineer and have a vast experience in the design and development of the basic electronics, digital / analog electronics systems
I have designed the wireless version of the temperature and humidity data logger system using PIC MCU and wireless transceiver modules.
I mainly work over micro-controller (PIC and ATMEL) based electronic circuit designing using Proteus simulator.
I have successfully worked over different pharmaceutical industry Karachi projects including DS18B20 digital temperature sensors interface with personal computers and real time data logging systems. Also we have worked over 4-20mA sensors protocol circuits for temperature and humidity sensors interfacing. RS232 and RS485 protocol and interface circuits are also one of our projects for interfacing digital circuits with PC.
I highly value my clients and believe in their SATISFACTION and high quality of work within a given span of time
Thank You
The existing circuit would not last very long, even if it works. I would replace the comparators with op amps and add protective/clamping diodes in many places. In electrically noisy environment like this, i would go for OTP or even masked-ROM micro, rather than flash micro. However, they have relatively long development cycles and higher NRE costs. You can go with a cheap solution now and pay for it later. Or you can let me build it right for you.
