1 Project overview We are developing a medical neurostimulation device intended for therapeutic applications, including tinnitus treatment. The system consists of: • A central unit based on a Toradex Verdin [login to view URL] 8M Mini SOM • Up to five body-mounted emitters • Custom electronics responsible for signal generation, power control, safety monitoring and communication with the Toradex platform The project is already well defined at system level, and hardware development can start immediately. ________________________________________ 2 Scope of Work Design a custom electronics board capable of controlling up to five emitters simultaneously. Each emitter includes: 2.1 Inductive Channel • Resonant coil • Approximately 35 kHz sinusoidal carrier • Current-controlled operation preferred • Automatic resonance tuning • Optional AM modulation from an audio signal (25 Hz – 8 kHz) 2.2 Capacitive Channel • 6 MHz sinusoidal excitation • Variable load depending on patient coupling • Real power control preferred • Independent control per emitter 2.3 Additional Functions • Temperature sensing (optional) • Safety monitoring • Power management • Audio input/output • Communication with Toradex SOM • Embedded firmware development ________________________________________ 3 Existing Assets The project is not starting from scratch.
