I need a compact, single-sided board built around an ATTiny85 that lets me toggle two independent loads on and off under firmware-controlled timing. The unit will run from standard AA / AAA batteries, so every component choice and trace width has to respect low-power operation and the 3 V range. Core features • Two ATtiny85 pins, each driving a MOSFET configured as an electronic on/off switch. • One extra GPIO exposed as an interrupt pin for an external sensor. • ISP programming through a USBASP 6-pin footprint plus a small pogo-pin test area so the board can be flashed without headers once assembled. Please route the battery holder footprint, isolation slots where sensible, and clear silk labels for all pads. Place decoupling as close as practical to Vcc/GND, keep the crystal optional (we think internal oscillator is fine for this timer accuracy), and leave one spare I/O broken out. Deliverables 1. Complete KiCad (or Altium/Eagle if you prefer) schematic and PCB files. 2. Production-ready Gerbers, drill files, and assembly drawing. 3. Simple demo HEX and source that shows a basic delay before each switch toggles, proving the interrupt line still wakes the MCU from sleep. 4. BOM with manufacturer part numbers and estimated costs. Acceptance criteria • Board dimensions under 30 × 30 mm. • Battery current <15 µA in sleep with switches off. • All nets pass DRC and ERC with default rules. If something is not clear, ask ! Once the files clear a quick review I will sign off and release payment.

Sub-15µA sleep on an ATtiny85 board is the whole game here — at that budget, a single wrong MOSFET (Rds(on) is irrelevant; gate leakage and the wrong pull configuration aren’t) or a leaky decoupling choice blows the spec. Single-sided under 30mm with an ISP footprint and pogo pads is tight but very doable. Why me? • Designed complex, miniaturized PCBs across AVR/ATtiny, ESP32, STM32, and Nordic nRF platforms — small single-layer boards included. • Hands-on with µA-level low-power design — proper MOSFET selection, pull-down placement, and leakage-aware part choices for sub-15µA sleep. • Comfortable with ATtiny85 firmware including pin-change interrupt wake-from-sleep and timed load toggling. • Route USBASP ISP plus pogo test pads so the board flashes cleanly with or without headers. • Deliver KiCad schematic/PCB, Gerbers, drill, assembly drawing, and BOM with real MPNs and costs. • response within 2 minutes during work hours. Happy to jump on a short call once those are clear.

Hi, I can design the compact single-sided ATTiny85 timer switch PCB with two MOSFET-controlled outputs, low-power battery operation, external interrupt input, ISP programming footprint, and pogo-pin flashing pads. The main focus will be confirming the two load specifications first, especially load voltage/current, so the MOSFETs, trace widths, connectors, and battery capacity are selected correctly. I will design for ultra-low sleep current under 15 µA by using ATTiny85 sleep modes, low-leakage MOSFETs, high-value pullups where suitable, and avoiding unnecessary current-draining parts. The board will be routed under 30 × 30 mm, with clear silkscreen labels, decoupling close to VCC/GND, battery holder footprint, sensor wake-up input, spare I/O breakout, and USBASP/pogo programming access. I can also provide a simple demo firmware HEX/source showing timed switching and wake-from-sleep interrupt operation. Deliverables will include the complete KiCad schematic/PCB files, Gerbers, drill files, assembly drawing, BOM, and demo source code. Regards.

Hello, I am an Electronics Engineer with 15+ years of experience in embedded systems, low-power electronics, PCB design, and custom microcontroller-based products. Your ATTiny85 low-power controller is a good fit for my background. I can design the complete schematic and compact PCB (under 30x30 mm), optimized for AA/AAA battery operation with ultra-low sleep current. I have extensive experience with AVR microcontrollers, MOSFET switching circuits, power optimization, ISP programming interfaces, and production-ready PCB layouts. For this project I will provide: • Complete schematic and PCB design in KiCad (or Altium if preferred) • Two MOSFET-controlled outputs driven by ATTiny85 • External interrupt input and spare GPIO breakout • USBASP 6-pin programming footprint and pogo-pin test pads • Proper decoupling, clear silkscreen labels, and manufacturing-friendly layout • DRC/ERC verified design • Gerbers, drill files, assembly drawing, and BOM with manufacturer part numbers • Demo firmware (HEX + source code) demonstrating timed switching, sleep mode operation, and interrupt wake-up functionality I regularly design embedded control boards, motor-control electronics, industrial automation hardware, and battery-powered devices, so I understand the importance of low-power design and reliable production files. I can also review component selection to help achieve the <15 µA sleep-current target before final release. Best regards, Hamza Electronics Engineer

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've reviewed your requirements carefully, and this is exactly the kind of compact, low-power embedded design where attention to detail matters more than component count. The functionality itself is straightforward, but achieving reliable operation from AA/AAA cells while keeping sleep current below 15 µA requires careful selection of the ATTiny85 configuration, MOSFETs, pull networks, programming interface, and firmware sleep strategy. I can provide: • Complete schematic and PCB design (KiCad preferred, but Altium/Eagle also available) • Compact single-sided board under 30 × 30 mm • Two MOSFET-controlled outputs with low-leakage design • External interrupt input and spare GPIO breakout • USBASP 6-pin programming footprint and pogo-pin test pads • Production-ready Gerbers, drill files, assembly drawing, and BOM with MPNs • Demo firmware demonstrating timed switching, sleep mode, and interrupt wake-up • ERC/DRC verified design files Proposed Milestones: Schematic and component selection PCB layout and power optimization Firmware development and testing Manufacturing package generation Final review and delivery A few questions: Are the two outputs intended as low-side or high-side switches? What maximum load current should each MOSFET support? Do you have a preferred battery holder footprint (AA×2 or AAA×2)? I can deliver a clean, manufacturable design with power consumption and serviceability considered from the start.

Hi, I am an Electronic Systems designer based at the IIT Madras incubation hub, and I can design and route this ATtiny85 load-switch board for you in KiCad immediately. To hit your sub-15 µA sleep current target, I will configure the ATtiny85's Power-down mode with the ADC, BOD, and watchdog timer disabled, utilizing a pin-change interrupt (PCINT) on your spare GPIO to wake the system. For the switches, I will spec low-leakage N-channel or P-channel MOSFETs (depending on if you need high-side or low-side switching), ensuring the gate pull-down resistors are sized to prevent parasitic drain while sleeping. Regarding your 30 × 30 mm dimension constraint: standard 2×AA or 2×AAA through-hole holders will physically overhang a 30mm board. If the board must strictly be 30x30mm including the power source, we will need to use a coin cell (like CR2032), or route pads for external battery wires rather than an onboard holder. Deliverables will include the full KiCad project, standard Gerbers/Drills/BOM, and the demo C/C++ firmware proving the deep sleep and interrupt wake sequence. Let me know if you want to proceed with wire pads or a coin cell, and I can start the schematic today. Best, Akshay Rukade
